Becoming a Member/ Taskforce building

PHC welcomes people interested in joining our organization, who wish to create a taskforce, join an existing one, or help with a special project.

Our Discussion Group, Community Support Circle, and General Membership Meetings already exist and meet monthly. Check them out!

However, we encourage the creation of other taskforces at any time! New ones are waiting for you to create them. The following new task-forces have been proposed:

* Helping the homeless and the Anti-Poverty Taskforce

* Education

* Political organizing

* Human rights

* Universal Healthcare Access

Who Can Join?

We invite anybody who shares our beliefs & interests to join PHC. Membership in PHC is constituted by attendance at two meetings and payment of a $10.00 yearly fee. The members of PHC may, by majority vote only, set special, voluntary fees to be used for special projects.

Benefits of Joining

There are several benefits to becoming a member of POLITICS FOR A HUMAN COMMUNITY. Our political discussions are lively & informative, many members are close friends, and our Community Support Circle allows us to freely give and receive important goods & services on a "Pay It Forward" basis. In other words, we form both a progressive political organization & model the community life we propose for the wider world. Plus, we have a great time when we get together!
