"The CSC was founded by PHC member Rhea Lewin-Geberer to bring our core ideals of community and interconnectedness into reality.
We seek to thereby prefigure the society we aim for, modeling it within PHC. The 3 components of the CSC are, 1st): an exchange
of needs and offerings, in which we describe (and schedule) both the help we need for ourselves and the type of help we can
provide to others (preferably not in a one-to-one barter exchange; we freely give and receive each other’s help, 'Paying
It Forward' so that over time we get back as much or more than we give); 2nd): personal sharing (bringing each other up-to-date
on our lives since the last CSC meeting); and 3rd) CSC outings, in which we deepen our sense of community by participating
in events together." Come enjoy the fellowship of other PHC members over dinner.

This area will be used for information about specific members. We may list each member's birthday for the
month, or other significant events, such as weddings, births, or graduations. This is a great way to keep up to date on how
fellow members are doing. We could also have links to members personal web sites.
Raanan Geberer, PHC member, has published a new futurist novel, Song of the Conquerors, which is a combination of science fiction, social commentary,
spiritual commentary and humor!
The book begins in the year 2030, after the world has been decimated
by dirty bombs. Now, in at least half the world, there are no real governments anymore, just two global paramilitary forces
jockeying for power. Fighting takes place only indoors at night, but it takes place nonetheless. The book focuses on three
fighters, all in their twenties: an outgoing high achiever from San Francisco with a sleazy underside; an obsessive, brooding
loner from Romania via North Carolina; and a restless, lonely female artist from Japan via New York.
They
soon die, but they are reincarnated 40 years later. After an amusing series of coincidences, they finally come together and
are given a mission by a divine being known as The Healer. Their task—to negotiate with some of the most vicious enemies
the world has ever known!
Song of the Conquerors by Raanan Geberer is available in both paperback
and e-book versions. To see a free excerpt and to order, log on to http://booklocker.com/books/5981.html. Song of the Conquerors is also available through amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.
